Hello.
I was wondering, would it be possible to put an address book feature on here? The reason is because if you come across a name you like, you can ad him/her to your contact list.
Well, I'm not speaking for the admins or the CL's, but I'm thinking in the interest of confidentiality of members, that might not be a good idea. If someone had a gripe against another zoner, they could clog up the servers/mailboxes with junk. Also, with it possible to send private QN's, messages, and e-mails, it isn't necessary at first, and if two people want to communicate, it's up to them to exchange e-mail addresses or info. Good point, and I'll be looking to see what other responses this brings.

Hmm...if I'm not mistaken, this sounds a lot like WL MSNMSGR and the other messengers.
I think I like the idea, but wish you had given more detail.
What could you do with this contact list?
Please give us more detail, I think you are on to something, but a little off on the detail.
Bob
one idea for a contact list could be used to store numbers for the ms gateway.
And while I think about it, I don't know if this has been discussed, but what about a feature where you can store your mobile phone number so that way someone can click on there user profile and send a text message to someones phone without having to give out there information.
The way livejournal does it with there premium members.
On this type of site I believe asking is better then just being able to add someone. If you read profiles you'll note that many users, specially female users ask that random people not just add them to say their MSN or whatever without asking first. Also Text messages cost some cellphone users, so if they posted their number for friends, but got a unfriendly person just hassling them that be expensive as well and a bother. My opinion is the continue to use the old fashion way of getting to know a person by asking them fore their info. I personlly would like being ask, so wouldn't want to be included in a net list for anyones use.
